1911 to 2021. Hundred Ten glorious years experienced the evolution of a Co-operative from a primary society to the largest urban co-operative Bank in the Paschim Medinipur of West Bengal, India.

I extend you a warm welcome on behalf of the Board of Directors of Ghatal People's Co-operative Bank Ltd. The Bank started its journey on 20th day of May in 1911 as co-operative society and subsequently, it received the RBI License as a Bank on 13th day of January in the year 1987.

The Bank is dedicated for socio economic development of local people as well as ghatal subdivision and upliftment of the living condition of local people by extending the loan and financial assistance to the people. The Bank had contributed remarkably in the Socio-economical development of the area, it had designed and introduced various product to meet the requirement of the people. To provide upgraded services to our customer, we had made over our TBA system into Core Banking Solution (CBS) System. To provide uninterrupted service to our customers, Our mission and vision is only to the quality service and uninterrupted service to the customers without any hazards.

The Bank has sound corporate governance and strictly follow the instructions of regulatory authorities such as RBI, Cooperation Department, Income Tax, etc. Ghatal People's Co-operative Bank Ltd. is a friendly banker of customers, we care customer sincerely and always try to provide best service to the customers. Our vision is only to the quality service and friendly relationship with the customers.

We are happy, but not satisfied. We are still in search of newer avenues of investment ––– more and more enterprises, industries ––– small, medium and even large.
